What is the booking Process?
Browse the through the list of available venues on our website. Each listing has varying inclusions i.e. chair covers, cake table, centrepieces and/or a night’s accommodation for the Bride and Groom. Wed Jet encourages you to take note of these inclusions as you browse though the site. Inclusions in each package can represent substantial savings to the overall cost of your wedding.
When you have found a venue that you feel will be perfect for your wedding, click on the “Book Now “ button and pay your deposit to secure the venue for your wedding day.
You will be emailed a receipt and booking form once your booking notification and deposit have been received.
A staff member of Wed Jet will contact you as soon as possible to confirm the details you have provided and organise a suitable time for you to meet with the venues event coordinator.
We encourage you to list 3 time/date preferences for meeting with the event coordinator, resulting in a speedy confirmation of the consultation time.
At your meeting with the event coordinator you will be shown through the venue, all inclusions will be discussed with you in detail as you make your choices for your wedding day. Details will be finalised and if you have any special requests, the coordinator will be happy to work with through them with you. At this point you will be required to pay the balance of the venues required deposit.

Will you put a hold on a preferred venue?
Wed Jet is an exclusive wedding venue site for last minute listings and, as such, feels in this instance it would be unfair to the couples looking for a venue and the venues listing availabilities to hold a listing open without a deposit. If you are 99% sure you want to book a wedding venue, and just need some additional time to finalise some related details, you can put the venue on hold for a maximum of 48 hours.
A $100 deposit will be requested to confirm the hold on the booking for 48 hours. When you go ahead with booking the venue, your holding deposit will be deducted from your overall package price.

Who can list a Venue?
Listings may be made by Venues with that have had a cancellation or have short term availability. In addition to this listings may be requested by couples who need to postpone or cancel their wedding plans, and are hoping to recover the cost of their booking. Couples listing a venue will need to have written authorisation from the venue concerned before we can advertise the listing. Wed Jet will validate all proposed listings with the venue nominated, before making the listing public.

How often do you list new venues?
We cannot predict availability of Venues. All listings are subject to short term availability via cancellations on previously booked venues. Once we have been notified of an available wedding reception venue and the listing fees have been received, the venue will be listed within 24 hours.

How much will it cost to book a venue?
Wed Jet is designed to assist those who are looking for a wedding reception venue at the last minute and does not charge a fee for service to couples using our site to locate a last minute venue.

Do you only list venues in Melbourne?
As Wed Jet is a Melbourne based company we have chosen to begin working with wedding reception venues in Victoria. This in no way limits our ability or willingness to list wedding reception venues on a national basis. Wed Jet is happy to accept listings from New South Wales, Western Australia, ACT, South Australia, Northern Territory Queensland, Greater Victoria and Tasmania.

You can pay for your booking either by Debit or Credit Card. Please note that we only accept MasterCard and Visa.
